As of Friday, June 5th…Valley Pool & Spa stores will be operating under the “Green Phase” PA State Guidelines and will continue to be fully OPEN to in-store shopping & water testing.

????We ask that you wear a mask when entering our stores to help protect our team, and you.

????Our stores are set up with “black and yellow” striped floor tape to promote proper distancing. Please follow distancing guidelines.

Like you, Valley Pool & Spa is deeply concerned about the impact to the health and well-being of our customers, our communities, and our employees during this time of uncertainty.

Our teams are continuously responding to Coronavirus COVID-19 information from local and national health agencies and taking action to minimize the risk to our customers and team members through enhanced cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing, and personal hygiene as recommended by the CDC.

We also acknowledge that many of you may be concerned about the ability to service and maintain your pool or spa during this challenging time. Proper pool and spa maintenance is essential to ensure the water does not succumb to algae and bacteria growth that can create additional health challenges.

The purpose of this message is to share what we are doing and how we can help:

  1. In addition to IN-STORE shopping, we are also performing “Curb-Side” purchasing and pickup for all items in our store.  Just CALL any of our 7 store locations to conduct a “curb-side” pickup order.
  2. Or if you would prefer, we can ship any orders over $99 with FREE shipping.  We can ship smaller orders (under $99) as well, for only $9.99.  Shop online at ShopValleyPoolSpa.com for shipping orders.
  3. Need a pool or spa water test?
    YES – Just walk-in! We are testing water in-store.
  4. Need At-Home Service?
    Our essential pool & spa repair and maintenance division is operating as normal and will be there when you need us.  Please just call 412-944-2441 to schedule an appointment.

What Else We Can Do to Help You Sanitize

Valley Pool & Spa stores carry essential chemicals that can be used as alternatives to home sanitizers that may be in short supply.  The CDC has recommended the use of household bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The CDC recommends the following procedure for making a bleach solution using household bleach:

Valley Pool & Spa stores carry liquid pool chlorine, which is approximately two times stronger than household bleach. The bleach solution recommended by the CDC can be formulated by substituting the recommended amount of bleach with only half the amount of liquid chlorine.

CDC Statement Regarding Pools & Hot Tubs in regards to COVID-19

As your trusted partner in pool and spa care, we wanted to provide you with important safety information from the CDC. According to the CDC, there’s no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, filtration, maintenance, and disinfection should remove or inactivate the virus that causes the Coronavirus.
