53 Year-Old Pittsburgh Pool & Hot Tub Company Continues Retail Growth with New Store

Coming soon in March 2020, Valley Pool & Spa will be entering the continuously growing Robinson Township market with their 7th store location.

PITTSBURGH, Jan 21, 2020 – Retail isn’t dead when it comes to Pittsburgh’s own Valley Pool & Spa. While some retailers are downsizing, specialty retail continues to find a place, especially when it’s tied to experiences. That is what’s driving the continued success and growth at Valley Pool & Spa, an operating division of Phoenix-based Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. The new Robinson Township store will raise the bar by expanding the in-store experiences that customers have known to love Valley for, as this store will be 50% larger than the other locations.

Valley has been an award winning staple in Pittsburgh and within the pool & spa industry since 1967, with the original location still operating and thriving on Route 30 in North Versailles. Corinne Kraft purchased the business from her grandparents in 1987, and continues to oversee and lead Valley to this day as Senior Vice President. The team of passionate, well educated employees is what gives Valley the edge of continued growth, allowing the business to expand for its loyal customer base. Valley will now expand to over 60 full-time employees.

Along with the new store brings the launch of Swim Spas and expansion of the exclusive BestLife Hot Tubs line. “Although aboveground pools, water treatment products, and pool supplies are the core of our business, we’re really excited to continue focusing on the growth of health and wellness products like our hot tubs and swim spas” says Cassidy. “These products pull families together for quality time, as well as help them achieve better health.”
